Physical Components of the Computer

The Monitor is hardware that produces the output (what is seen on the screen).


The Central Processing Unit (CPU) processes the information you enter into the computer using a keyboard and/or mouse.
The Keyboard is hardware that enables you to enter alphabetical, numeric and/or alphanumerical data into the computer.
The Mouse is hardware that enables you to draw and/or select data entered into the computer.
